| Friday, October 27, 2006 Weirdest Spam Ever So, I'm used to getting the "bigger penis" spam, the "Viagra" spam, the completely non-sensical porn spam, and the "be skinnier in a week" spam, but I'm really sort of lost on this one I got today. It's from "Dana Gabriel", and it's not addressed to me, so I must be BCC'd with a bunch of other people with similar email addresses. Anyhow, it's title is "mis-stitch partridge cane" and the message is as follows: "you must not be too severe upon yourself," replied elizabeth."lady catherine de bourgh," she replied, "has very lately given him a living. i hardly know how"Weird, right? None of it is a link to a porn website or anything. It's just that text. I'm not really sure how effective this sort of spam is, since it's not actually advertising anything and it doesn't trick you into clicking a link. So I'm a little perplexed by it, but it's kind of interesting... Well, I thought it was funny, anyway. Update: So, these two sentences are from Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" - chapters 48 and 16, respectively. Still very odd... posted at 8:28 AM
